The workshop for jurists from Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia was held in Casablanca, Morocco, on December 8-9, 2005. The workshop reviewed alternative dispute resolution methods for the legal community. Nineteen prominent Moroccan lawyers and judges were in attendance.

A team of Moroccan Country Legal Experts were selected to assist in the implementation of the project. These experts are junior lawyers who have contributed to the creation of the Morocco Country Chapter and provide ongoing assistance in the organization and promotion of workshops and trainings.

The Moroccan Country Legal Experts researched the state of arbitration and mediation in Morocco. As a result of their research, they have composed a report outlining their findings.

A key project activity is the establishment of an EU-MEDA network of ADR providers. The goal of this network is to promote the exchange of information and cooperation among these centers in the 27 EU countries and the 10 MEDA countries.
